Global Technology Symposium

For more than a decade, Sasha Johnson and her team at the Global Technology Symposium have built one of the most respected international technology conferences in Silicon Valley. The two-day event brings early stage companies from around the world to the Bay Area and convenes leading technologists, investors, entrepreneurs, innovators, and ecosystem builders.
For three years, I worked alongside the GTS team to curate startups, develop programming, secure speakers, and help deliver a world-class experience for hundreds of attendees. It was an opportunity not only to learn how great conferences are built, but also to build relationships with global investors and to identify and support exceptional founders.
Having seen the same startup idea emerge independently on three continents in the same month, I understand deeply that talent is distributed everywhere. The real question is whether founders have access to the markets, resources, and partnerships required to bring their solutions to life or whether they are shut out by geography, networks, or circumstance.
The Global Technology Symposium created a platform that opened doors for founders outside traditional innovation hubs. It helped entrepreneurs from around the world gain visibility, secure resources, and make a global impact through their work. My collaboration with GTS aligned fully with my belief in finding talent anywhere and helping it succeed everywhere.
